Qatar Airways has announced the continuation of the temporary suspension of its flights as the closure of Qatari airspace remains in place, according to a report by Qatar News Agency (QNA).
The airline said operations will stay suspended until authorities confirm that the country’s airspace has safely reopened. Qatar Airways added that it is closely monitoring developments and will resume services once approval is granted by the relevant authorities.
Passengers are advised to check the airline’s official channels for the latest updates on flight schedules and travel advisories.

Aviation data shows Gulf airlines play a major role in global travel. Carriers such as Emirates, Qatar Airways and Etihad Airways usually carry about one-third of passengers travelling between Europe and Asia. They also transport more than half of travellers flying from Europe to Australia, New Zealand and Pacific islands.
Flight data indicates that between February 28 and March 5 more than 44,000 flights were scheduled in the Middle East. However, over 25,000 flights were cancelled because of the conflict.
Traffic at Dubai International Airport, often described as the world’s busiest airport for international passengers, has started recovering slowly. Current activity remains close to 25 percent of normal levels.
