The Excise and Taxation Department, Punjab, has announced a major biometric facility for the sale and purchase of vehicles remotely through the Pak ID app, which would enable citizens to save time and money to avoid excise officers.
With the support of NADRA Technologies, a new digital system of Excise and Taxation, Punjab has been introduced. Pak ID has been launched for online biometric verification of vehicles. With the help of Pak ID, biometric verification of vehicles will be possible with just one click from home.
Not only local but also overseas Pakistanis will be able to benefit from online biometrics, with Pak ID, online biometric verification will be possible instead of manual affidavits and embassies.
