NOKUNDI: Inspector General Frontier Corps (IG FC) Balochistan (South) chaired a high-level public jirga in Nokundi to discuss regional security, border management, and the eradication of human trafficking.

The gathering saw full participation from the district administration, political and social leaders, local elders, and area dignitaries.

During the session, participants held detailed discussions on local grievances, the overall security landscape, and the specific challenges posed by illegal cross-border activities.

Addressing the jirga, the IG FC South said that the cooperation of the local population is the cornerstone for establishing lasting peace and maintaining law and order in the border regions.

He reiterated that the FC is taking decisive measures to enhance border security and dismantle networks involved in the serious crime of human trafficking.

Local elders expressed their appreciation for the FC’s ongoing welfare initiatives and peace-building efforts in the region. They reaffirmed their commitment to stand with the security forces in preventing illegal activities and ensuring regional stability.

The event concluded with a special Iftar dinner hosted for the local elders and dignitaries, further strengthening the bond between the security forces and the community.
