The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued a comprehensive traffic advisory for the ongoing Tri-Nation cricket series at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued a comprehensive traffic advisory for the ongoing Tri-Nation cricket series taking place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The series will continue until November 29.
During this period, cricket teams will travel from Islamabad to the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. To manage this, more than 300 officers from the Islamabad Traffic Police will be deployed during the matches.
It is important to note that traffic flow on the Express Highway and Srinagar Highway may be impacted during peak hours. Citizens are advised to allow an additional 15 to 20 minutes for their travel during this time.
The Islamabad Traffic Police will make every effort to ensure that citizens experience minimal disruptions. Traffic updates and awareness will be shared on the Islamabad Police’s social media pages and through FM 92.4.
Citizens are encouraged to cooperate with the traffic police and to exercise patience. For any emergencies, they can contact Pakaar 15 or the Traffic Helpline at 1915.
