Three accused involved in the alleged attack on Adil Raja and Shahzad Akbar were produced in court at Westminster Magistrate’s Court.
Among the accused presented in court is Mark Regan, whose son was produced in court last week in the same case. The court was told that Mark Regan has been involved in criminal activities in the past and has been to jail before. While a Pakistani officer allegedly involved in the attacks, Asif Afsar, is also a habitual criminal and works in the business of buying and selling vehicles. Asif told the police that he has no connection with any agency or any Pakistani institution.
Inside the court today, the prosecution also told the court that the motives of the attackers allegedly involved in the attacks on Adil Raja and Shahzad Akbar were not known.
