BUNER: Large numbers of water tanks sent for flood affected of Buner distributed on the basis of political favoritism of PTI office bearers at local level causing serious question over PTI transparency agenda.
Reliable sources told Pakhtun Digital that PTI office bearers in flood affected areas spared large number of water tanks for their party union council office bearers, which was right of the flood affected people in Gookand and Beshoni area.
These water tanks were provided by Care and SRSP which were only sent for those community members who were really affected by devastated flood and cloud burst in upper areas of Buner.
A local person without mentioning his name told that some relief items like tents and tanks are being used by self centered PTI local leaders, which is a matter of grave concern for the people who really suffured due to flood.
When contacted one of the PTI office holder, he said that it is their right to get some thing as they are struggling for the local community in head of compensation.
It is important to mentioned here that relief goods being distributed by the local welfare organization were fairly distributed while those come through government channels were embezzled in one shape or the others
It is responsibility of deputy commissioner Buner and others relevant officers to keep close watch over the fair distribution of these relief items.
