ISLAMABAD: The workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) reportedly harassed a senior journalist, Shahzeeb Khanzada, for reporting on The Economist Story about the PTI’s founder Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi.
A video of the incident had gone viral across social media platforms on Sunday. PTI workers are seen harassing Shahzeeb Khanzada, who is looking for stuff for his family at a shopping mall.
The video scenes show that the PTI supporter filmed the couple and hurled abusive language at them when they were shopping at the mall.
Despite all of this, Shahzeb Khanzada and his wife remained calm, handling the situation with dignity.
At the end of the video, the supporter said that he just wanted to talk with him and claimed that it was not harassment.
This is harassement of @shazbkhanzdaGEO .. This is no crusade..

Information Minister, Attaullah Tarar, condemned the harassment of senior anchorperson Shahzeeb Khanzada, stating that the senior journalist showed grace and patience.
In a tweet on his X account, Mr Tarar wrote that this attitude is unacceptable; such individuals should be identified and dealt with. Those who harass people while they are out with their families. This is no way of expressing a difference of opinion
