KOHAT: The ongoing sit-in by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) at Khushhal Garh Kohat has caused a complete road closure, leading to significant difficulties for local commuters. Residents and travelers have reportedly been stuck in traffic, including patients trying to reach hospitals, as the blockade has brought movement to a standstill.

The protest is being held to demand that PTI founder Imran Khan be allowed access to his personal physician and undergo a complete medical examination under supervision at Al-Shifa Hospital.

Frustrated by the disruption, many commuters expressed their anger towards the protesters, blaming the sit-in for the traffic chaos and the hardships caused by the prolonged road closure. Authorities have urged the PTI protesters to allow passage for essential vehicles to alleviate the situation.

This protest in Kohat is part of a larger nationwide demonstration by the opposition alliance, which is demanding the hospital transfer of PTI chairman Imran Khan.

Important routes from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Punjab and other provinces are currently affected as well.
