KOHAT: A rally organized by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) in Kohat was disrupted on Sunday due to strict security measures, leading to protests by party workers, especially from the youth wing.
Reports indicate that members of the PTI’s Kohat youth wing staged a protest after being denied access to the stage.
The situation intensified as youth activists chanted slogans against what they referred to as the stage mafia and certain party officials.
The heavy security presence at the venue also restricted media access, with journalists reportedly not allowed to enter the rally grounds, which added to the confusion and discontent among participants.
Chanting slogans, members of the youth wing expressed their frustration over the management of the event and accused party officials of sidelining grassroots workers.
Despite the unrest, the rally continued under tight security.
