The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman, Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi, has appointed a new leader and a deputy leader of the opposition at the Punjab assembly. The party issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday.
According to the sources, PTI issued a notification stating that, on the directions of the party’s founding chairman, Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi, PTI has appointed its new opposition leader and deputy opposition leader for the Punjab assembly.
It said that Moin Qureshi had been appointed as the Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly, while Hafiz Farhat Abbas had been nominated as the Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly.
The notification noted that these appointments will come into effect immediately and will remain in effect until further notice.
