PESHAWAR: PML-N Senator and Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Irfan Siddiqui has alleged that some Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPs and some judges of the judiciary are planning to resign simultaneously to create instability in the country.

Irfan Siddiqui warned that such a plan will not succeed and the elements involved in it will have to face shame.Senator Siddiqui said that the recent situation shows that due to disappointment and frustration, PTI MPs and some judges will soon resign together to advance their interests.

He called the parliamentary standing committees the backbone of the parliament and stressed that the PTI, which has representation in both the National Assembly and the Senate, should fulfill its democratic responsibilities by playing an active role in these committees.

According to Irfan Siddiqui, the aim of this plan is to push Pakistan towards a major crisis, but according to him, this plan will bring nothing but failure and disgrace.
