PTI Member of Provincial Assembly MPA Usman Khan Bettani lashes out at political opponents over theft of solar lights worth millions of rupees in Tank Bazaar and said that the opponents will suffer more when the entire city sees metallic roads and a lighting system.

Tank MPA and Chairman DEDIC District Tank Usman Khan Bettani has said that a few days ago, amid public worry, 60 solar lights were installed in the narrow bazaar on an emergency basis at a low cost of Rs 2.4 million, thus shifting the city of Tank from darkness to light.

“However, this morning, I was saddened to hear about the theft of 2 solar lights. These are not ordinary thieves, but political thieves who cannot tolerate the progress of Tank; rather, they are trying to push the city into darkness,” he remarked.

However, this desire of theirs will never be fulfilled, and they will feel the pain when all the roads of the city are lit up with more than Rs 66 million in the entire city, and there will be lights all night.

“ My job is to provide funds and install lights. Citizens should cooperate in maintenance by showing proof of responsibility, and these political thieves should be punished. Point them out and make them an example,” he asked local workers.
