PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) member provincial assembly and former special assistant to the chief minister, Amjad Ali, appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Sunday and denied the allegations against him.

Former Special Assistant and Member of the Assembly, Dr Amjad Ali, appeared before the National Accountability Bureau. Dr Amjad Ali questioned the investigation officer for about three hours and rejected all the allegations against him.

Dr Amjad Ali has also demanded an inquiry against the complainant and has termed the action initiated by NAB as vindictive.

The National Accountability Bureau has started investigating assets beyond income. In this regard, former Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Housing, Dr Amjad Ali, appeared before the National Accountability Bureau.

Dr Amjad Ali told Pakhtun Digital that the allegations made in the investigation case of assets beyond income are false and baseless. The investigation officer has given answers to all the allegations and has said that the only assets I have are those that I have declared in my returns.

Apart from this, the property in question does not belong to me or anyone in my family. If NAB suspects that it belongs to me, it should be auctioned, and the money should be distributed among the relief organisations of Swat. Dr Amjad Ali has also demanded action against the accusers and has also demanded that NAB officials not throw turbans.
