KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) failed to mobilise a significant number of citizens for its public gathering in Karachi, but the event caused serious inconvenience for residents due to traffic disruptions.

Residents of the city of lights faced hardships over the weekend as several key roads were either partially or completely blocked, leading to long traffic jams and delays for commuters. Office-goers, students and patients faced difficulties in reaching their destinations on time.

Citizens expressed frustration over poor traffic management and the lack of alternative routes. The situation raised questions about planning and coordination, as the low turnout contrasted sharply with the widespread problems faced by the public throughout the city.

PTI fails to gather the public for rally

According to a senior police officer of Karachi, only 600-700 people are present at the PTI rally, which reflects the public’s least interest in the PTI Karachi gathering.

Developing story.
