ISLAMABAD: Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Information and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Affairs, Ikhtiar Wali Khan, on Saturday criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for what he described as 13 years of poor governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In an interview with a private news channel, he said the PTI’s first government in the province failed to fulfill its promises, and its continued mismanagement has negatively impacted every sector.
He accused PTI of exploiting every issue for political point-scoring, including using discussions about jail meetings with its founder to remain in the media spotlight.
Wali added that the people have rejected PTI’s politics, and such tactics are merely efforts to regain lost relevance. He further remarked that those who struggled to manage even local councils were handed control of the entire province, leading to administrative and developmental paralysis.
