BUNER: The current leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is facing severe criticism from the public due to the dilapidated roads and lack of facilities at the district hospital in Buner district Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Public circles say that big claims of development projects were made, but the ground realities are the opposite. People are worried about the deteriorating condition of roads, Potholes and cracks in various areas of Buner, especially Daggar Gookand Road, have made transportation extremely difficult. Local drivers said that accidents are increasing due to the pothole-filled roads, while traveling becomes impossible during rainy days. A local citizen said, “We voted for PTI on the promises of development, but today the situation is such that even the basic roads are no longer usable.”
Lack of facilities in the district hospital . On the other hand, the condition of the district hospital in Buner is also deplorable. According to patients and attendants, the hospital has a severe shortage of medicines, surgical equipment and cleanliness. There is a shortage of doctors in many wards, while laboratories and X-ray machines are often closed. Citizens have strongly criticized the PTI government on social media by sharing videos and photos. Users say that Buner has always been neglected. One user wrote, “If this is the change, then the people will not accept this change.”
The public has demanded that the provincial government immediately take emergency measures to repair Buner’s roads, provide facilities in the hospital, and deploy staff, so that the public’s problems can be resolved.
