The second big match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 is being played today, March 27, between Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The match will be played at Time: 7:30 PM Pakistan Time (Toss will be held at 7:00 PM) at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Due to regional tensions and fuel saving campaign (Austerity Measures), the PCB has decided to hold the initial matches without spectators. Spectators are not allowed in the stadium; however, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has expressed hope that spectators can be called in when the situation improves in the next phase of the tournament.
Quetta captain Saud Shakeel stated before the match that he wants to cement his place in the national team by performing well this season. It should be remembered that Quetta was the runner-up team last year (2025).
Karachi Kings are led by Australian star David Warner. He has said that he will try his best to win the trophy for Karachi this time with his fitness and experience.
Lahore’s pitch is traditionally conducive to batting, where the average score is between 175 and 190. However, the dew element at night can create difficulties for the bowlers, due to which the team that wins the toss may prefer to bowl first.
