ISLAMABAD: The official anthem for Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 has been released under the title “Khelenge Beat Par”. The anthem features a collaboration between renowned artists Atif Aslam Aima Baig, the Sabri sisters, Anam Sabri and Saman Sabri and emerging vocalist Dania Kanwal.

The anthem tracks the ten-year development of PSL which established its historical tradition while it reached its key milestone of expanding from six teams to eight teams during this current season.

Atif Aslam returns to the lineup after his previous performance in the 2022 anthem “Aage Dekh” while Aima Baig makes her fourth appearance in a PSL anthem which establishes her strong presence in the tournament’s musical legacy.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board PCB the anthem shows how national excitement creates unity among fans throughout the country because of the national pride that the competition has become. The song shows how young Pakistani people love cricket which exists throughout the country.

PSL Chairman Shoaib Nasir explained that the anthem represents league development, while it shows the upcoming active and powerful times that the tournament will experience. He said that PSL 11 serves as the beginning of a more assured and active period which will define upcoming competitions.

The instant the anthem release happened the public started to discuss it on social media, where they presented their various views. The public showed different responses to Atif Aslam returning to the PSL stage because some people praised him while others showed different views about this year’s anthem which they said sounded like previous songs.

Since its inaugural season in 2016 PSL has developed into a top annual sports fixture which brings together cricket fans from across Pakistan, turning it into one of the most awaited celebrations of the year.
