ISLAMABAD: A significant slash in petroleum product prices has been indicated in Pakistan for the next 15 days from December 1, 2025.
According to industry and government sources, a reduction of up to Rs 6.35 per liter in petroleum products is being predicted from December 01. The expected relief is being attributed to an increase in global supply, which has become possible after the revival of several units of Kuwait’s Al-Zour Refinery, one of the largest refining complexes in the Gulf region.
According to preliminary calculations based on 13 days of data, the price of petrol is likely to decrease by Rs 3.70 per litre, after which the price of petrol per litre may decrease from Rs 265.45 to Rs 261.75 per litre. On the other hand, the price of high-speed diesel is likely to decrease by Rs 4.28 per liter, after which the price may decrease from Rs 284.44 to around Rs 280.16 per liter.
