ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned the 20th session of the National Assembly on Monday at 5:00 pm in Parliament House, exercising powers under Article 54(1) of the Constitution.
According to a press release from the National Assembly Secretariat, the last (19th) session was held from September 1 to 5.
Ahead of the session, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has convened a meeting of parliamentary leaders at 4:00 pm tomorrow to finalize the strategy and agenda. The meeting, to be chaired by the Speaker, will focus on key issues slated for discussion, with all parliamentary leaders formally invited to attend.
