PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Labour Department banned posting and transfers and made it subject to the approval of the Minister of Labour.

Official notification said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Labor Department has imposed a complete ban on transfers and appointments in all its related subsidiaries. According to the announcement issued by the Labor Department, no change of any officer or staff in the department will be possible without the prior approval of the Minister of Labour. This decision has been implemented immediately on the instructions of the Minister of Labour, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Labor Department, “All transfers and appointments will remain suspended until further orders.” The announcement further said that no transfers or appointments will be made without the prior approval of the Minister of Labor. The purpose of this ban in the Labor Department and all its subordinate agencies is to improve administrative matters and avoid unnecessary changes.

This decision has been taken against irregularities and illegal changes by the administrative officers of the Labor Department to bring transparency and stability in the affairs of the department. The authorities have warned that if any officer or staff member violates this ban, strict action will be taken against them.

The announcement issued by the Labor Department clearly states that “the prior approval of the Labor Minister will be mandatory for all types of transfers and postings.” The implementation of this ban will not only bring transparency in administrative matters but will also increase harmony among the staff of the department.

The Minister for Labor, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (the name of the minister if available), has termed this ban as a necessary step to improve discipline in the department. He said that this step has been taken to improve efficiency in the Labor Department and reduce unnecessary disputes.

The announcement further said that no officer or staff will be transferred without the approval of the Minister of Labor, and strict action will be taken against anyone who ignores this restriction. Department sources said that this step will not only bring discipline in the institution but will also ensure that administrative matters are under the supervision of the Minister.

This restriction has been imposed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Labor Department to ensure that all appointments and transfers of officers and staff are made regularly with the approval of the Minister of Labor. This step is also important because unnecessary disputes and irregularities have come to light in the department for some time now in the transfers and postings of officers.

This restriction is currently limited to the Labor Department and its subordinate agencies, but government sources say that if this step is successful, consideration can be given to imposing such restrictions in other departments as well, to improve the performance of the department.
