DIR: Due to the failure of cellular phone companies to provide internet service, the public is facing severe difficulties in Timergara and its surrounding areas. Mobile internet has been slow or completely shut down in the area for several days, due to which the business community, journalists and students are facing severe problems.
Local traders said that business has come to a standstill due to the impact of online transactions and digital payment systems. The journalist community says that due to the unavailability of internet service, it is not possible to send news on time, while students are facing difficulties in submitting online classes and assignments.
Citizens have demanded that the concerned authorities and the Telecom Regulatory Authority take immediate notice of the problem and take practical steps to restore internet service so that the public is relieved of further troubles.
