PESHAWAR: Police have recovered three dead bodies of local peace committee elders near Marwat Canal Road in the Bakakhel area of Bannu.
According to initial information, three people were abducted by unknown armed men from Peepal Bazaar two days ago. Late at night, armed men killed the three leaders, including Waliullah, and threw their bodies on the road. Local people reached the spot, picked up the bodies and shifted them to a nearby inn. Local sources say that along with the abductees, their driver was later released and reached safe to his village.
