DIR: Lower Dir Police has achieved a big success and rescued the kidnapped girl Dua Rehman safely from the kidnappers; however, the kidnappers have made their escape and will be arrested soon, police said.
The girl was kidnapped two days ago, after which the police immediately started the operation.DPO Lower Dir, Taimur Khan, personally led the operation and supervised the entire operation. The police conducted continuous search operations in different areas, as a result of which the girl was safely recovered. Dua Rehman was handed over to her parents, who expressed deep gratitude for the progress of the police.
Although the girl has been rescued, the accused has not been arrested yet. The police have intensified their operations to arrest the accused, and police teams are working at different places. The DPO also announced that the police will soon arrest the accused according to the law.
DPO Lower Dir Taimur Khan thanked the public, who cooperated with the police operation. He said that public cooperation played an important role in this success, and the police will continue such operations in the future.

ABBOTTABAD: The Abbottabad police on Sunday busted a pickup driver who allegedly harassed women after the woman complained on Social Media.
According to a statement issued by the Abbottabad police, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic Abbottabad took immediate action on a woman’s complaint on social media, and the Pickup driver was arrested, and a case was registered against him at the Cant Police Station.
It said a woman made a complaint on social media with the vehicle number c4425. The woman had claimed in her complaint that a Suzuki driver not only misbehaved and was drunken state on the road.
Police statement noted, as soon as the complaint came to light, SSP Traffic Qamar Hayat Khan took prompt notice and directed to concerned police station to search for the concerned driver.
Traffic police teams took action with the help of the vehicle number mentioned in the complaint and found the Suzuki driver within a few hours.
The driver was arrested and detained at Cantt police station, where an FIR has been registered against him for misbehaviour with women and immoral behaviour.
Police also urged the complainant woman to contact the Traffic Control Room 1915 or the Cantt police station 09929310038 as soon as possible.
