ABBOTTABAD: Shocking developments have emerged in the kidnapping and murder case of Dr Warda, with another suspect arrested and significant weapons recovered.

In this tragic case, the police have made a crucial breakthrough by apprehending a suspect named Adil. Authorities have confirmed that they recovered Dr Warda’s mobile phone and ATM card based on information provided by the arrested individual, which are now considered vital evidence in the investigation.

According to police officials, Adil made startling disclosures during questioning, stating that Dr Warda was killed after being kidnapped. He revealed that a pit was dug to bury her body. Acting on this information, the police searched for the identified location and successfully recovered her remains, deepening the severity of the case.

Further investigations led police to carry out raids at several locations based on Adil’s information, resulting in the seizure of a large cache of weapons. Among the recovered items are rocket launcher shells, multiple rifles, ammunition, and other dangerous firearms. Authorities claim that these weapons are illegal, and their potential use is currently under investigation.

The police presented the arrested suspect in the Anti-Terrorism Court under tight security, where the court granted a seven-day physical remand at the request of law enforcement. Officials indicated that further interrogation will take place during this period.

Authorities have assured the public that the investigation into the kidnapping and murder of Dr Warda will be pursued to its full conclusion, with all individuals involved in this heinous crime being held accountable and facing appropriate penalties.
