SWAT: Swat police on Thursday arrested a fake drug inspector along with his accomplice in the limits of Gwalerai police station. The suspect was posing as a drug inspector of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health department. 

According to a statement issued by the Swat police, this significant operation led to the bust of the fake drug inspector and his accomplice in the Gwalerai area of Swat district.

The incident began when Ali, a resident of Baha, reported to the Gwalerai Police Station that two unknown individuals had visited his medical store in Aghal. They identified themselves as drug inspectors and made various false allegations against him. They fraudulently extorted Rs. 10,000 from him before fleeing.

Upon receiving the report, District Police Officer (DPO) Swat Muhammad Umar Khan ordered swift action. The Station House Officer (SHO) of Gwalerai Police Station, Mohibullah Khan, quickly assembled a police team under the supervision of Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Circle Matta, Naseer Bacha. Thanks to their prompt response, both suspects were apprehended and taken into custody.

The arrested individuals were identified as Hussain Zada, son of Abdul Hameed, a resident of Berthana, and Najibullah, son of Zadour Khan, a resident of Labat.
