PESHAWAR: The situation became tense during the appearance of SHO Behrmand Shah, allegedly involved in the murder of Advocate Asim Shah in Charsadda, in the Peshawar High Court.
When SHO Behrmand Shah appeared in the court along with his lawyer Shabbir Hussain Gaggiani for a hearing on his interim bail application, the lawyers reacted strongly to his arrival. During the appearance, the lawyers became enraged and tortured lawyer Shabbir Hussain Gaggiani, after which a scuffle broke out between the alleged police officers in plain clothes and the lawyers.
In the lawyer murder case in Charsadda, the Peshawar High Court reserved its verdict after hearing the arguments of the parties, which was later announced by the court, rejecting SHO Behrmand Shah’s interim bail application.
