SWAT: Former District Nazim and PML-N leader Malik Siddique Khan strongly denounced the district administration’s wrong decisions regarding bulldozing their hotels in the garb of encroachment and termed it as depriving the people of their livelihood.
Addressing press conference, he said that whenever the tourist season approaches conspiracies starts against the people of Swat. He said that the hotel owners’ association are badly affected due to the decision of the district administration.
He said that each hotel provides jobs to dozens of unemployed people, and bulldozing a single hotel causes financial death to the entire family.
Malik Siddique alleged that he has suffered a loss of Rs 900 million by demolishing his hotel and other properties, which will have to be compensated by the government and relevant institutions, and if they fail, he will knock on the door of the court to seek justice.
