ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif will depart for Saudi Arabia on Monday to attend the Ninth Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII).
The visit comes at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. During the three-day trip, the Prime Minister will lead a high-level delegation comprising Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, along with senior cabinet members.
During his stay, Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to meet with the Saudi leadership to discuss expanding cooperation in trade, investment, energy, and human resource development. The talks will also cover regional and global issues of mutual interest.
On the sidelines of FII9, the Prime Minister will meet with world leaders, investors, and heads of international organisations to highlight Pakistan’s investment opportunities and its commitment to sustainable growth under the theme “Think, Exchange, and Act.”
The FII9 forum, themed “The Key to Prosperity: Unlocking New Frontiers of Growth,” will bring together global policymakers, business leaders, and innovators to discuss innovation, sustainability, economic inclusion, and evolving geopolitical trends.
The Prime Minister’s visit reflects Pakistan’s focus on strengthening economic diplomacy, attracting foreign investment, and building strategic partnerships in technology and sustainable development.
