LONDON: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to leave for the United States today at 11:00 AM (UK time).

According to details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is to hold a meeting with US President Donald Trump, to discuss regional security, global peace, and bilateral relations.

While addressing the Overseas Pakistanis Convention in London, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded the efforts of the Pakistani diaspora for their contribution to the national economy. He mentioned that the overseas Pakistanis have remitted $48.5 billion to the nation this year alone.

While talking about regional tensions, Shehbaz Sharif spoke on the recent military skirmish with India and said:

India will never forget the lesson that it learned in the Ma’raka-e-Haq. Yet, now there is a ceasefire and Pakistan wants peace and settlement of all problems including Kashmir on an equal basis.
