ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif had a telephone conversation this evening with His Excellency Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, discuss regional peace and stability.

During the call, the Prime Minister strongly condemned the serious regional tensions that have arisen following Israel’s recent attack on Iran and the subsequent unfortunate attacks on several Gulf countries. He emphasized that such actions pose significant dangers to the peace and stability of the region and could exacerbate the situation.

The Prime Minister expressed Pakistan’s complete solidarity and unwavering support for the Saudi leadership during these challenging times. He assured them that Pakistan stands firmly with its Saudi brothers and sisters in every circumstance and during every difficult moment. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to safeguarding the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia.

Additionally, the Prime Minister conveyed that Pakistan is prepared to play a constructive and positive role at this critical juncture. He concluded the conversation by praying for the establishment of peace, stability, and harmony in the region, especially during the blessed month of Ramazan.
