QATAR: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Qatar for a two-day official visit at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Upon arrival at Hamad International Airport in Doha, the Prime Minister was welcomed by Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, His Highness Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khalifa, as well as the Pakistani Ambassador to Qatar, Muhammad Amir, and other diplomatic staff.
Accompanying the Prime Minister are Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi.
During his visit, Prime Minister Sharif is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with the Emir of Qatar, where they will discuss enhancing cooperation in economic collaboration, energy partnerships, and people-to-people exchanges. The two leaders will also explore ways to further advance cooperation in trade, investment, energy, infrastructure development, and manpower export.
The Prime Minister’s visit underscores the strong brotherly ties between the two countries and highlights their mutual commitment to strengthening multilateral cooperation.
