Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif hold call with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on Sunday, exchanging Eid greetings and reaffirming the close ties between the two countries.
During the warm and friendly conversation, both leaders extended Eid ul-Fitr greetings to each other and to their peoples, praying for peace, stability, and prosperity in their respective nations and across the Muslim world.
Prime Minister Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its historic and fraternal relations with Indonesia and expressed a desire to enhance bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
The leaders also discussed the latest regional developments, particularly tensions in Iran and the Gulf region, stressing the need to resolve disputes through dialogue and diplomacy and calling for an immediate reduction in tensions.
