Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif chairs a meeting to review the country’s economic situation in the context of the recent global petrol crisis and Iran war.

Yesterday, the price of petroleum products was increased on the recommendation of the committee, in which the minimum burden of the global increase was transferred to the consumers.
The Prime Minister directed the committee to work more actively and present easy and workable recommendations for its people as soon as possible.
Any petrol pump or company found involved in creating artificial shortages or hoarding should be closed immediately and its license should be canceled, and legal action should be taken. Prime Minister’s clear instructions
The Prime Minister directed the finance minister and the petroleum minister to visit the four provinces and prepare a plan and action plan with the provincial governments regarding saving petroleum products and their uninterrupted supply to the people.
