The Peshawar High Court(PHC) has ordered not to exclude the Afghan student from the admission process due to a lack of a passport.

The Peshawar High Court has issued the order of the previous hearing on the application related to the admission of the Afghan student. The order states that the applicant student should not be excluded from the admission process based on not having an Afghan passport. Afghan students are required to have an Afghan passport and a visa for admission to specific seats.

The Peshawar High Court has said that, according to the applicant student’s lawyer, the Pak-Afghan border is closed, and due to the closure of the border, it will take some time to obtain a passport. The order states that, according to the petitioner, she is being denied admission on the grounds of not having a passport. The parties should submit a detailed response in this regard. In the meantime, the Afghan student should not be excluded from the admission process.

The court has said that further hearing on the petition is adjourned till December 30.
