There is a possibility of a reduction in the prices of petroleum products on the occasion of the New Year , If the proposals was approved, the prices of petrol, high-speed diesel, light diesel, and kerosene will be reduced.
The source said that a proposal has been made to reduce the prices of petroleum products. Sources have said that kerosene is likely to become cheaper by Rs 8.92 per liter, while the price of light diesel oil is expected to decrease by Rs 6.62 per liter.
Similarly, if the proposals are approved, the current price of petrol will be reduced from Rs 263.45 per litre to around Rs 252.85 per litre, and similarly, the price of high-speed diesel is also likely to come down from Rs 265.65 to Rs 257.06 per litre.
In addition, the price of kerosene is expected to be reduced from Rs 180.54 to Rs 171.62 per litre.
