ISLAMABAD: After November 1, 2025, petroleum products in Pakistan will not be as affordable as before, as per the information obtained from the sources.
The price of fuel might be increased by PKR 1.48 per liter. While a high-speed diesel price may be increased by PKR 1.38 per liter. The cost of kerosene oil is expected to increase by PKR 2.34 per liter, and the price of light diesel oil may increase by PKR 0.49 per liter.
The sources further added that OGRA (Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority) will be submitting its summary on the new petroleum prices on October 31, and the price adjustments will be announced after the approval of the Prime Minister.

Earlier, on 15 October, the government decreased petrol prices for the next 15 days. The Petrol price dropped by Rs 5.66, and Diesel prices were slashed by Rs 1.39.
The Finance Ministry issued a notification, stating “petroleum product prices have decreased for the next two weeks to provide relief to consumers.”
The notification stated that petrol prices have decreased by Rs 5.66, resulting in a new price of Rs 263.2 per litre, while diesel prices remain at Rs 275.41 per litre.
The light diesel prices decreased by Rs 2.74, and its new price per litre is fixed at Rs 181.71.
The government has announced that the prices of petroleum products will remain unchanged at 264.61 rupees per litre for the next 15 days.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the price of diesel has increased by 2.78 rupees per litre, and the new price of diesel is 272.77 rupees per litre.
