Petrol prices decrease in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Sunday announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products, with the new rates set to take effect from midnight and lasting for the next 15 days.

According to a notification from the Petroleum Division, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 4.79 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs 279.65 per litre. Additionally, the price of petrol has been lowered by Rs 2 per liter, resulting in a revised price of Rs 263.45 per litre.

The Petroleum Division stated that these new prices will come into effect at 12 a.m. tonight and will remain in place until the next fortnightly review.
