Spokesperson for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that the tri-series will be held as per schedule, and a third team would be included after Afghanistan refuses to participate in tri tri-nation series.
A PCB spokesperson said in a statement that Afghanistan has announced its withdrawal from the tri-series. However, the tri-series includes teams from Pakistan and Sri Lanka. He said that the option of a third team is being considered, and arrangements are underway. A decision in this regard will be made very soon. He said that the tri-series T20 tournament is scheduled from November 17 to 29. It should be noted that the Afghanistan Cricket Board had announced its withdrawal from the tri-series to be held in Pakistan. In a statement issued by the Afghanistan Cricket Board, it was said that Afghanistan will not participate in the tri-nation series to be held in Pakistan in November.
