PESHAWAR: Pashto music famous female singer, Nazia Iqbal’s husband, Javed Fiza, has filed a petition in the Peshawar High Court (PHC) seeking a Pakistan Origin Card.
A petition has been filed by Javed Fiza, asserting that Nazia Iqbal is a Pakistani citizen and that her children were also born in Pakistan. The petitioner claims that Nazia previously held a Pakistani identity card, which has since been blocked due to family issues.
The petition includes marriage and birth certificates for her children. Javed Fiza has requested the court to issue a Pakistan Origin Card for himself, while asking that the children be provided with a smart card or Form B.
Advocate Saifullah Mohib Kakakhel represented the petitioner during the hearing. The court has requested responses from the federal government and other relevant parties regarding the case.
It is important to note that Nazia Iqbal is currently residing in the UK with her family.
