ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar stated in a news conference that Pakistan’s role as a mediator has gained prominence in the current global situation, which is causing concern for India.
He noted that Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts amid the ongoing global conflicts are being recognised and appreciated worldwide, with the international community acknowledging the positive contributions of Pakistan.
Tarar clarified that Pakistan has consistently aimed to foster peace and stability, and world leaders are aware of the significance of this role.
The Information Minister said that Pakistan’s mediation efforts have become a source of anxiety for India, leaving it feeling unsettled. He stressed that no political party or leader is more important than the country itself, asserting that Pakistan will continue to adopt a constructive approach on the global stage in its own interest.
He further explained that Pakistan’s policy has always focused on peace, diplomacy, and cooperation, with ongoing efforts aimed at reducing regional tensions and enhancing the confidence of the international community.
