Pakistan’s batting line-up struggled against India in the ongoing Asia Cup final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, setting a target of just 147 runs for India to chase.

Aside from Farhan Sahibzada and Fakhar Zaman, the top-order batsmen once again disappointed. Opener Saim Ayub was dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav for only 14 runs, while wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Haris did not score any runs before returning to the pavilion.

Fakhar Zaman played aggressively, scoring 46 runs off 35 balls, which included 5 fours and 3 sixes, putting the Indian bowlers under pressure. Sahibzada Farhan also impressed with a solid innings, scoring 57 runs off 38 balls, featuring 5 fours and 3 sixes, before being caught out by Varun when the team’s score was 84.

However, Pakistan’s total quickly dwindled to 131 runs as several key batsmen fell early. Hussain Talat was dismissed for just one run, while Shaheen Shah Afridi and Faheem Ashraf both went out for zero. Haris Rauf managed to score six runs before being clean bowled by Bumrah.
