ABU DHABI: Shafqat Ali Khan, the Pakistani Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has released a crucial video message which he uses to address the Pakistani community who live in the UAE.

In his message, Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan emphasized to the Pakistani community not to believe in rumours and false information, which he termed as responsible social media use. He further emphasized to all Pakistanis the need to respect the laws and regulations of the UAE completely.

He further emphasized the need for the community to rely on official information only from the relevant authorities and institutions to acquire correct information. “The safety and security of the Pakistani community in the UAE is our top priority.”

He further thanked the UAE government because he wanted to show the support of the Pakistani nation to the difficulties faced by the UAE brothers and sisters. He mentioned the tragic death of a Pakistani citizen who died due to the falling of debris on him during a defense operation in Dubai, assuring the community that the staff of the embassy and consulate are working continuously to provide support to all Pakistanis who are in need.

The Pakistani Embassy and Consulate have established special help desks that operate 24 hours every day. The mission maintains ongoing communication with the UAE authorities while it undertakes all essential measures to assist the Pakistani community.

He concluded by calling for collective responsibility, patience, and unity to navigate the ongoing challenges.
