LAHORE: As the moon for Rabi-ul-Thani was not sighted in Pakistan, first Rabi-ul-Thani 1447 Hijri will be on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

According to details, Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad, the Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, chaired a meeting to record the moon for Rabi-ul-Thani. Similarly, zonal committees held meetings simultaneously in their respective cities.

No credible proof or moon sighting report emerged from any part of the country. In the wake of this, Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad formally announced that the moon had not been sighted.

Subsequently, the Ministry of Religious Affairs also issued a notification stating that 25th September 2025 will be observed as 1st Rabi-ul- Thani.
