ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain said that Pakistan is producing camel milk powder and exporting it to the US and China, while Saudi Arabia has also shown interest in buying the powder.

Federal Minister for Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain met with Qatari Ambassador Ali bin Mubarak Al Khater in Islamabad. During the meeting, discussions were held on increasing cooperation between Pakistan and Qatar in the agricultural sector.
On this occasion, Federal Minister for Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain said that relations between Pakistan and Qatar are based on brotherhood, respect, and trust. He said that Pakistan has a great capacity to supply halal meat, fruits, vegetables, rice, and fodder.
According to the statement, a proposal was made in the meeting to form a joint working group for cooperation in the agricultural sector. Qatari Ambassador Ali bin Mubarak Al-Khater appreciated Pakistan’s agricultural potential and trained workforce and said that Qatar’s Minister of Commerce will visit Pakistan soon.
The statement said that the two countries also agreed on a memorandum of understanding for agricultural cooperation.
