Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 8 wickets in Under-19 World Cup match played in Harare.

Pakistan achieved the target of 129 runs set by Zimbabwe for the loss of only 2 wickets and 142 balls early. Samir Minhas showed outstanding performance in the match, who played an innings that helped them win by 74 runs. Ahmed Hussain added 24 and Usman Khan added 26 runs.

For the Zimbabwean team, Michael Blignot and Pinache took one wicket each. The Pakistani bowlers also played a brilliant game in the first innings, as a result of which the host team was dismissed for only 128 runs in 35.5 overs. Nathan Neil tried for 59 runs, while captain Sambrashi returned to the pavilion after scoring just one run.

For Pakistan, Ali Raza took three wickets, while Abdul Subhan, Muhammad Sayam and Momin Qamar took two wickets each.
