Pakistan’s snooker team has achieved great success in the ongoing International Billiards & Snooker Federation(IBSF) World Snooker Championship 2025 held in Muscat, Oman.
Team players Muhammad Asif and Asjad Iqbal won the honour of becoming world champions by defeating the Hong Kong China team 3-2 in the final. Teams from 19 countries were participating in this championship, in which the Pakistani team showed its best performance. Prime Minister Youth Program Focal Person Muhammad Imran Noshahi congratulated the team on its victory, while the program’s chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan also congratulated Asjad Iqbal and Muhammad Asif on becoming team world champions.
Pakistan’s victory is a proud moment for snooker fans and reflects the country’s prominent position in the sport.
