Pakistan has set a target of 275 runs for Bangladesh in the second One-Day International at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium.
After winning the toss and opting to bowl first, Bangladesh captain Mehdi Hasan saw his decision pay off as the Pakistani team was bowled out for 274 on the third ball of the 48th over. The innings was highlighted by a brilliant 75-run performance from Moaz Sadaqat, supported by Salman Agha’s 64 and Mohammad Rizwan’s 44.
Mehdi Hasan chose to field an unchanged side, aiming to replicate the winning formula from the first match, where Bangladesh triumphed by 8 wickets. Conversely, Pakistani captain Shaheen Afridi introduced one change to his lineup, bringing in fast bowler Haris Rauf for spinner Abrar Ahmed. Afridi expressed optimism that the batting unit had learned from previous mistakes and was ready to level the series before the final match this Sunday.
