ISLAMABAD: Pakistani security forces have successfully captured the Barawala Kalay check post  following an operation along the Afghan border.

According to security sources, some Taliban were killed during the operation while the rest escaped.

Sources said that the forces crossed the border and took complete control of the post, which made the superiority of the Pakistan Army in the region clear.

Security officials said that the operation was timely and effective, and the enemy was not given any opportunity to advance.

As a result of this operation by the Pakistan Army, not only the defensive position of the Afghan Taliban was weakened but also helped in maintaining law and order in the border areas.

Security sources further said that the Pakistan Army has increased its vigilance in the border areas and a close watch is being kept on the movement of any potential enemy.
