Pakistan utterly rejected the propaganda and false claim of Afghan Taliban regarding attack on Jamrod army installations and said that no military installations in Jamrud were hit or compromised.

The Taliban claimed to have successfully struck the Jamrud Military Colony and other sites in Abbottabad and Nowshera via drones and missiles. Pakistan has officially labeled these reports as “fictional” and “psychological warfare” intended to mask their own battlefield losses.

Security officials stated that while there were minor cross-border skirmishes near the Khyber Pass, no military installations in Jamrud were hit or compromised.

Pakistani authorities highlighted that the videos circulated by pro-Taliban accounts—purportedly showing explosions in Jamrud—were actually recycled footage from older conflicts or unrelated industrial accidents, intended to create panic.

Islamabad claims to have “conclusive evidence” that recent attacks in Pakistan, including a suicide bombing in Islamabad earlier this month, were orchestrated by militants operating with the full support of the Afghan Taliban leadership.

The Pakistani military has officially designated the TTP and its affiliates as “Fitna al-Khawarij,” underscoring that they view the conflict not as a political dispute, but as a religious and national defense against extremists.

The border remains sealed at all major points, including Torkham and Chaman. While Afghan spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has expressed a desire for “dialogue,” Pakistan’s leadership has stated that negotiations are impossible until the Taliban take “verifiable action” against terror hideouts.
